General

How do I run reports in ARCUS?

Currently, reporting continues to be an Accounting function. Because Accounting is still handled in Broker, reports will still be accessed in Broker.

What does the red lock mean?

A red lock next to a load or order indicates that the order or load is locked from entering the Edit screen by another user. If you try to enter the Edit screen, a popup will show with the username of who has the record locked.

What does the blue lock mean?

A blue lock next to a load or order means that you have the record locked and others will not be able to enter into the Edit screen. To unlock the order or load, you can just click on the blue lock icon or enter the order or load and click the ‘Save’ button.

Is there a charge to send an electronic check-in to the driver?

No, there is no charge on the ARCUS side. If the driver has a cell plan that charges for text messages, then it is possible that he will see a charge on their bill.

Orders

Is there a limit on how many characters can be in the Notes field?

Yes, the Notes field currently allows for 1000 characters, including punctuation and spaces.

Why can’t I turn my Order into a Load?

Make sure that your order status is marked as Open. To achieve this, see the guide here.

Loads

Why can’t I see my Broker loads in ARCUS?

The loads from the dispatch area of Broker does not sync with ARCUS.  Loads created in Broker will continue to ‘live’ in Broker and loads created in ARCUS will continue to ‘live’ in ARCUS.

Can I un-release a load in ARCUS?

Yes, you are able to take a load out of released status. Find instructions here.

Can I add accessorial charges to a load after it’s been released?

No. Once a load has been released, no additional charges may be added.

You may unrelease a load to open it to editing and then re-release it after you are finished. Find instructions here.

EFS Moneycodes

Can I cancel an EFS Moneycode if it’s partly cashed?

Yes, you can cancel a partly used EFS Moneycode.

Can I still send a paper/manual EFS Moneycode?

Yes, you can still send a manual or paper EFS Moneycode. You will need to have the paper check forms available.

These checks will not show in your ARCUS loads until your accounting contact has entered into the system under the load. Once that happens, then you will see your manual code in your load details.

Settlement

Can I change carriers after the load has been released?

No. Once a load is released, the carrier cannot be changed.

Can I add brokerage % after a load has been released?

No. Once a load has been released, brokerage cannot be added.

Where can I find my settlement tasks?

Settlement tasks can be found by going to the Settlement section of the Load Tracking screen, from your notifications, or from the Dashboard. Click here to see these steps in more detail.
