Posting to the Load Boards

The images in this tutorial were taking using an earlier version of Arcus. However, the steps and information are still accurate as of September 2021. -SY

Posting available loads to Load Boards is an important aspect of creating a Load. ARCUS currently utilizes two Load Boards. One is the internal Jerue Load Board and the other is the Load Board from Internet Truck Stop, also known as ITS.

The option to post the Load to the Load Boards is located in the Load Board block of the Load Maintenance screen.

This screen can be found by selecting “Edit” from the drop down menu arrow located next to the Load Number of the Load grid.

You will find the block by scrolling down and looking to the right.

You then just need to click the box next to “Post to load board”.

This option will not be available unless the Load has a “Booked” status, meaning that it does not have a Carrier already assigned. (Find an explanation of the statuses here.) Once a Carrier has been assigned to a Load, there is no longer a need to post the Load to a Load Board.

To remove a post from the Load Board, you simply uncheck the “Post to load board” box in the Load Board block. This is done automatically (with a Notification to the User) when a Carrier is added to a Load.

Currently, the ITS account login information is updated in the User database by the Jerue Operations department.
