Requesting A Driver Check-In Via SMS Text Message

ARCUS users can now request driver check-in’s via SMS text messaging to their cell phone. Both the request and the driver’s response will be logged into the system and kept as part of the load record.

How to Request A Driver Check-In

 

  1. From the Load Tracking Grid in ARCUS, click on the Load Number to enter the Load Tracking screen for the individual load.
  2.  Click on the “Load” tab.
  3. Click on the red icon next to the driver’s name under “Driver Contact.”
  4. Click the “YES” button on the popup box that appears.
  5. A popup notice will appear in the bottom right of the screen showing that the “Check-In” was successfully sent. 
  6. The driver will receive a message on their cell phone.
  7. An entry will be added to the load record showing the QuickPoint Check-In was requested.
  8. When the driver responds, a corresponding entry is recorded for the QuickPoint Check-In.

  1. A SMS text message is received from the ARCUS system.

  4. Click the “Check-In Now” button.

  5. Click on the “Allow” option to allow your location to be sent.

  6. A success screen will be shown showing the check-in was sent.

  7. The check-in information will be logged into the ARCUS system and becomes part of the load record.
